1950s - New PMT Designs

Invented and introduced a completely new series of photomultiplier designs and first commercial production of photomultipliers commenced in West London.

1990s - Electron Tubes Ltd.

Electron Tubes Ltd. formed. Modular photon counting systems added to the photomultiplier range.

2007 - ET Enterprises Ltd.

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. acquired the photomultiplier division of Electron Tubes Ltd. and the name changed to ET Enterprises Ltd.

2012 - Plowden & Thompson

Acquisition of Plowden & Thompson glass manufacturing business to secure the long term availability of specialist glass used in production of photomultipliers.

2016 - Expanded Product Range

Further expansion of our product range to include detector modules and high QE and compact photomultipliers.
